Composition of Decision-Making Body
The SACSCOC Board of Trustees is composed of 77 members elected by the College Delegate Assembly (CEOs of the 780 member institutions). Eleven (11) public representatives, CEOs (43), and Administrators (23). A 13-member Executive Council, elected by the Board, may make decisions on behalf of the Board when the board is not meeting.

Frequency of Comprehensive Reviews and Required Follow-Up: The SACSCOC Board of Trustees meets in June and December each year for accreditation-related reviews.

Frequency of Comprehensive Review of Accreditation Standards: Institutions are accredited every 10 years with an interim review in the Fifth Year.
