NAACLS independently accredits educational programs at the associate, prebaccalaureate (certificate), baccaluareate, post-baccalaureate (certificate), master's and doctoral degree levels in the United States and internationally for the following professions: Biomedical Scientist (BMS), Cytogenetic Technologist (CG), Diagnostic Molecular Scientist (DMS), Doctoral Clinical Laboratory Scientist (DCLS), Histotechnician (HT), Histotechnologist (HTL), Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA), Medical Laboratory Microbiologist (MLM), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Pathologists' Assistant (Path A), Phlebotomist (Phleb), and Public Health Microbiologist.

Sponsoring Organization:

NAACLS has two sponsoring organizations - American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) and American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - and three participating organizations - Association of Genetic Technologists (AGT), National Society for Histotechnology (NSH), and American Association of Pathologists' Assistants (AAPA).
